Chynna Pope

Figure skating Coach from Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. She has been skating for twenty years having been a competitive figure skater and professional Ballerina for the majority of that time. Her skating career has been filled with competitive victory on local and international stages and for the past five years coaching.

Chynna is an accredited coach and a member of The Professional Skaters Association and continues to expand her knowledge of the sport through their coach’s training programs. Having explored all disciplines of the sport: figures, ice dancing, singles freestyle, synchronized team skating, Pairs, Ice Theater, show skating, and power skating Chynna’s experience is vast.

Chynna is licensed and qualified to teach all skaters from beginners to advanced and recreational to competitive. She enjoys continuing to be involved with the development of this sport in Ireland and hopes that Irish skaters can explore each and every one of the many opportunities offered by this sport them in the years to come.

Chynna recently coached Mikey Graham from Boyzone before his appearance on this years Dancing on Ice. Chynna is also responsible for all the choreography for all our Ice Shows.

This years Christmas on Ice show included Donal MacIntyre, runner up of last years Dancing on Ice who performed along side all junior figure skater in a show that will be long remembered by all who attended. Pictures will be up shortly...

Joanne McCabe

Joanne has been involved with figure skating for over twenty years. Throughout that time she has competed in club competitions, performed in shows and has recently taken on many more responsibilities greatly contributing to the development of Figure Skating in Ireland. Joanne, an ISAI Emerald Skate licensed coach, has been coaching for five years. Though her coaching career started as a temporary job in the seasonal rinks in Dublin, it has recently turned into a full time passion. She is now a Resident Coachat the Dundalk Ice Dome. Joanne was instrumental starting the Figure Skating Programme at the Dundalk Ice Dome and she continues to work with a team of coaches to further the success of the skaters.

Joanne is a member of the Professional Skaters Association and is enrolled in coaching courses to further her knowledge and expertise of the sport. Joanne’s commitment to the sport has been apparent in her choreography of many group numbers and solo acts in the Annual Christmas shows and her own students competitive success. Joanne’s passion for the sport is apparent in her teaching and she hopes that this passion will inspire all skaters, both recreational and competitive, to stick with it and achieve all of their goals.
