The Dundalk Ice Dome, Ireland's only permanent indoor Olympic Size Ice Rink

The Ice Dome is open every dayoff the week with public skatingsessions available each day no matter the weather and there's FREE PARKING & FREE WIFI available. ICE BAR & BISTRO open every weekend with a great selection of food and beverages. The Ice Dome offers a weekly learn to skate and learn to play programme, figure skating courses (Emerald & Junior Skate), Disco on Ice every Friday, kids birthday parties, ice karting, summer figure skating & ice hockey camps and annual figure skating exhibition shows (Halloween, Christmas, Spring & Summer). On Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings the Ice Dome hosts the Irish Ice Hockey League games. FREE entry to all IIHA games.

Learn to Skate Programme

In this class skaters will learn the most basic of skills. The ultimate goal is not only to get every skater skating but it is to make sure that everyone is having fun doing it.This is a weekly course without commitments and you are welcome to come and go as you please. But do remember: practice makes perfect. When the skater has mastered all of the basic skills they will be encouraged to move on to our Figure Skating or Ice Hockey Programmes. Learn to Play Ice Hockey

We are proud to say that our Learn to Play Hockey Programme is designed and coached by the highest accredited coach in Ireland, Sean Dooleya Canadian native with strong Irish roots as his parents originate from the local area. The Learn to Play Programme is developed to teach the participants the basic ice hockey skills. Everything from skating, passing, shooting, stick handling, positional and team play along with teaching the rules of ice hockey and of course having great fun on the ice..

Figure Skating and Ice Hockey

Ice Skating Association of Ireland works closely with the Dundalk Ice Dome to provide the best coaching for all figure skaters in this country. The figure skaters also have annual Halloween, Christmas, Spring and Summer shows.

All Irish Ice Hockey league, Development league and Celtic Cup games are also played in the Dundalk Ice Dome.
